Japanda Journeys; Episode 6 Part Two

And here's part two of three. Granted Part three is intended to be a single, more detailed panel to finish off this little Saga. Christ, it's nearly been a year since I took this person's ask and ran with it. That said, I should probably look up exactly where that ask is so I can thank the person who asked it heavily. I hope the surprise comic that came out of it was worth it...despite how long it took...

Japanda Journeys; Episode Six Part One

I meant to start posting these last week, but a combination of keeping up with commissions and dragging health kinda threw a wrench in those plans. As of right now, my health is still dragging otherwise I would have aimed to have at least two pages out tonight, but I'll try to have another page out tomorrow, maybe even both as "Episode 6" should only contain about three pages. Moreso two pages and a final splash page. Funnily enough, I almost drew Paige in this one, strapped to Vernon via baby Bjorn like a previous pic set in Gus' shop. Then I remembered that "Japanda Journeys" is supposed to take place before Dawn and Vern even adopt pups. We're talking around the last chapter of Rehab and where the Family Vulpes Story will be picking up in terms of timeline. Joel's plan to live in Japanda for a while in order to get to know Megumi better is part of Gus' motivation to pick up a new player for the weekly B&B sessions.

Anywho, I should be back tomorrow with page two, but for now, please enjoy.

Shoot for the Stars (Edison Hunter-Bellwether) Comm

This was actually a commission, surprisingly. A collaboration of sorts to create some glossy shots of an all grown up Edison Hunter-Bellwether achieving his childhood dream of becoming an astronaut, as well as working as a flight director before hoof at mission control. While I would argue that this commission is only sort of cannon (After a rousing discussion with said backer who commissioned the idea), as I planned for Edison to be physically unable to do actual space flight, and so he's restricted to Flight Commander, it still made for some rather fun art. And it has the added bonus of acting as the Ask Blog Content for this week.

That said, I'd like to thank Dom for Commission these pieces. Thanks bud, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them, and the same goes for the rest of you. Oh also, I've included a variant of the liftoff picture without sound effects. This was also at Dom's request, so everyone could 'appreciate the detail'.
