Hey everyone, I want to keep this update short as I'm saving the more substantial update for during the Fourth of July weekend. I just wanted to cover some quick issues that are ongoing.
First and foremost I got my first flag with the recent 'Kodi and Yukon' commission due to the nature of the content. My fault for not double-checking the rules, but since sentient feral seems to be okay, I thought eh...the 'I' word wasn't off limits either. (I'm not going to spell it out as I think it triggers some sort of site monitor to further scrutinize a post.) My solution to this is pretty much to post those pictures directly to Furaffinity, and probably move away from that content altogether after I finish the last two portions of the series that have been paid for by the person who commissioned it. Generally consensual stuff of that nature...I mean it doesn't bother me as it wasn't wholly my characters depicted anyway, (Kodi and Yukon are half mine), and it's fictional drawings of talking animals so I wasn't opposed to drawing it. But for my own safety, it's better to simply refuse said commissions of that nature going forward. I'll probably limit anything that dances on that line to close friends, and they more than likely won't go public at all if I end up doing more. We'll see. For now, the Patreon ban on that is definite. (Ellie fantasizing about Cameron doesn't count as that's a non-blood-related adopted daughter, and it's a one-way crush.)
The other, less pressing issue, I've basically paused my asks while I work on cranking out the next chapter of the Val fic. Though I have my outline I've been struggling with it the last few days. Hopefully, it'll get moving and I'll have it done within the first week of July. For those wondering where the previous chapter I completed is, it is still in editing as my editor has a life. Regardless I want to try my hardest to adhere to my 'one-chapter minimum a month' edict, so eventually I'll have a pipeline rolling. generally when I suffer 'writer's block', it's not so much having no idea what to write. But being stuck in a scene trying to find the words and they just won't come. It happens, but I do push through eventually...so I'll hopefully make traction over the next few days.
